Colin Miller was commissioned into the Royal Air Force as an officer in 1978. He spent a highly productive 21 years as a Support Helicopter pilot was deployed on a number of operations in various regions of the world. He flew a variety of helicopters: Chinook, Anti-tank Lynx, Wessex and latterly Puma as Officer Commanding No 33 Squadron in the rank of Wing Commander. His last tour of duty was in the UK Ministry of Defence working for the Chief of the Defence Staff. On leaving the military service he worked on a number of programmes for large Defence Primes including within the R&D arena. Three years ago, Colin Miller joined Renovagen to generate awareness of the company’s innovative solar hybrid technologies within UK and NATO military organisations and having achieved that is now focussed on how Renovagen can support Humanitarian and Disaster Relief operations and off-grid Construction and Mining Exploration operations.
